03/02/2013

Jagex has been polling their readers for some weeks now for the old style Runescape service that has received nearly half 1,000,000 votes and today the game launched for all Runescape players.

Over successive six months the service will remain free and can have an ardent small development team engaged on the 2007 version of the game. Regular polls will happen as players decide that options are intercalary or removed from the old style version.

"Although this can be solely a fraction of the general RuneScape membership, it's unbelievable to envision how such large numbers of our community ar prepared to mobilize for issues they're dependent on," aforesaid Phil Mansell, RuneScape's government Producer. "It was clear very early that there was an ardent movement in our community for this project. {we can|we will|we ar able to} therefore arrange to the promise that the longer term of these servers are secured and their updates are left entirely in the hands of our community to decide. We'll be holding regular content polls which will allow them to help form and direct that content or fixes they need enforced into the game."

Mansell continued "We definitely could not have brought this content back while not our community's support and commitment, they're at the centre of everything we have a tendency to do at Jagex. RuneScape has invariably been influenced by its players, and 2013 are no totally different, when the community speak we have a tendency to aim to please! This year is going to be our biggest year ever and our players ar attending to be right in the heart of it."
